NFL

Social Lab Video Editor | September 2020 – May 2021 (seasonal)

City | Culver City, CA 

• Created weekly player highlight videos for the NFL Social Lab by editing and producing the highlights for digital platforms using Adobe Creative Suites, and Davinci Resolve studio to send to athletes to post on their social media platforms. 

• Produced with talent such as Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and the EA sports team to create and edit weekly Madden 99 rating video for TheCheckdown and NFL social media platforms.

• Pitched and collaborate ideas in the weekly player Social Lab team meetings to spotlight the best NFL athletes and foster an environment of teamwork and goal setting to strengthen the NFL brand identity. 

• Edited the in game Bud Light Showtime Cam fan tweets for television broadcast using adobe Photoshop.

XFL
Producer/Editor | November 2019 – April 2020
City | Stamford, Connecticut

• Developed, pitched, edited, and produced compelling video and features for all XFL social media sites and OTT platforms including Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to increase consumer viewership and following.

• Implemented quality control in all aspects of production and content for social/digital video projects to establish best standard operating procedures.

• Weekly travel to assigned games; pre-game, in-game action and post-game to fulfill filming responsibilities.

• Color graded in-game and post-game footage using scopes, LUT’s and Red Giant software plugins for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

• Generated and collaborated with the production team to foster an environment of teamwork and goal setting to strengthen the XFL brand identity.

• Managed and created original storytelling videos and in-game highlights for digital platforms using Adobe Creative Suites, Avid Media Composer, and Avid Media Central.

ESPN
Producer/Editor | February 2019 – November 2019

• Produced, researched, and edited engaging editorial pieces for air on ESPN’s international and domestic networks to ensure quick turnaround times under tight deadlines; Shows include but not limited to, SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight, Baseball Esta Noche, player tribute obits, and college football.

• Pitched ideas during show meetings to senior and associate producers to provide creative direction and help show staff create new content.

• Consulted and produced packages of video content to support the senior show producers and show anchors throughout the production process to promote efficient workflow in the department.

• Organized and maintained camera equipment including lenses, lights, and accessories, then assembled the proper camera and lighting equipment based on project needs for the production staff.

ESPN
Video Editor | February 2017 – February 2019

• Edited and process footage for ESPN’s morning show Get Up! to provide video content for the network to air during the 7 a.m. segment.

• Trained current and new staff members on various editing functions to promote efficient productivity within the department.

• Pitched innovative video and franchise ideas for air on ESPN’s international and domestic networks.

• Checked quality in video clips by color correcting and mixing audio to ensure smooth delivery of content on air.

• Created text and motion telestrations graphics and digital media in After Effects.

• Contributed to video edits and lead developments in multiple organizations at ESPN such as Content Development Program, Content Edit Project Group, and ESPN Undefeated Fresh Points Group.

• Produced and edited digital content for ESPN.com, ESPN’s Instagram page and the Watch ESPN app to increase social media presence.

ESPN

• Managed technical productions transfer of media files for ESPN’s domestic and international networks.

• Archived tape media onto servers to preserve content for retrieval by team members.

• Collaborated with colleagues to create video reel content for the ESPN Enabled Employee Resource Group, the Media Operations Department, and ESPN’s Rookie Camp.

• Assisted with the production and delivery of video and audio streaming by routed live feeds to proper channels, monitored and adjusted audio and video levels to make content suitable for the air.
